Onyx Fulfillment Server
Onyx Fulfillment Server is a complete system for the processing and administration of literature orders in Onyx Customer Center. It replaces the Onyx Print Handler and the Onyx Mail Handler. (It does not currently replace the Fax Handler or List Handler.) The Onyx Fulfillment Server (OFS) provides a scalable and flexible solution for supporting customer environments.
- Enables multiple OFS systems to be run against the same database. All Handler services (print and email) can be run in the same OFS system.
- Maximizes network bandwidth by providing the ability to store literature items in multiple locations, allowing region-specific items to be stored locally.
- Allows users to reassign orders to new printers after they have been submitted.
- Allows users to resubmit orders and place orders on ‘Hold’.
- Allows users to view and manipulate processed or ‘archived’ orders.
